New Community Park Officially Opens on Riverside Drive

The city celebrated the grand opening of Riverside Park this past Saturday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by more than 200 residents. The new park features a modern playground, walking trails, and a covered pavilion that can be reserved for community events. Mayor Emily Grant spoke at the event, emphasizing the city’s commitment to providing more green spaces for families. “This park represents an investment in our community’s health and happiness,” she said. The project was funded through a mix of city funds and state recreation grants.
